The JASNA AGM is this weekend. If anyone of you attend, I hope you have a great time and say hi to any other Pemberleans who might be there.

I've never actually made it to an AGM. Has anyone here?

Apparently, they were selling the Austen notes and coins at the AGM. I have an acquaintance who was there and she bought one of each for me. I'll post photos if I can.

Are you planning to attend this year's AGM, Julie? I would have thought you were a seasoned attendant. To attend one is in my bucket list. Someday. It would be the next best thing now that the RoP meetings are a thing of the past.

I've never been to one. And this year's meeting is Persuasion in Kansas City. But I just don't have the money or, frankly, the inclination. I'd enjoy the talks, but I'm not into the ball or the costumes or whatever.

I have never been to one, but I would like to go. I am considering going to the 2019 AGM in Williamsburg. I am not interested in the balls or costumes either, but would enjoy the talks and Williamsburg is in an interesting part of the country.

I've only been to Williamsburg once, back when I was little. I remember really enjoying it. There is a blog called Two Nerdy History Girls and the 2 women who run it visit Williamsburg a lot. They post about various (usually) women who work there, such as a blacksmith, a mantua-maker, etc. Really good stuff. Check out their Williamsburg posts here: twonerdyhistorygirls.blogspot.com/search/label/Colonial%20Williamsburg
